Vol. 14 No. SI-1 (2025): Special Issue: Advances and Innovations in Multidisciplinary Engineering

This special issue aims to showcase pioneering research and practical innovations across a wide range of engineering domains, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration and cross-sectoral integration. As modern engineering problems grow more complex, effective solutions increasingly depend on the convergence of diverse fields — from computer science and materials science to biomedical and environmental engineering.

The objective of this issue is to provide a knowledge-sharing platform for researchers, professionals, and academicians to present solutions that integrate tools, methodologies, and technologies from multiple disciplines. Special attention is given to studies that blend theoretical insights with practical applications to solve real-world challenges. Of particular interest are contributions that bridge the gap between fundamental science and applied engineering, demonstrating the transformative impact of interdisciplinary innovation.

This special issue encourages a holistic approach to engineering, fostering collaboration beyond traditional boundaries. It supports innovation that promotes sustainable development and the design of smart, efficient, and resilient systems across various sectors. Topics may include — but are not limited to — the fusion of basic sciences (physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics) with applied engineering disciplines such as mechanical, civil, electrical, electronics, computer, chemical, biomedical, aerospace, and environmental engineering.

All articles published in this issue have undergone the journal’s standard peer-review process, with a minimum of two qualified reviewers per submission.
