Abstract

Wireless Networks growing very rapidly due to the fast setup and flexible enough to deploy so to choice the security for that is one of the important issues. Because functionalities and protocols are there to implement but the problem is the lack of understanding. This paper will help to identify the protocols for wireless communication specially Wireless Local Area Network which is the quite Hot product due to vary cost effective solution and very easy to deploy both in home and in enterprise level to provide the access of the network wirelessly. This paper will also identify the vulnerabilities of WEP and advantages of WPA (Wi-Fi Protect Access) over WEP (Wired Equivalence Protocol) so that can give the complete picture to identify the best solution for WLAN in term of secure communication.
