About the Journal
Focus and Scope
International Journal of Applied Mathematical Research (IJAMR) (E-ISSN 2227-4324) publishes original research, reviews, short communications and technical notes that develop or apply mathematical methods to problems in science, engineering, technology, economics and the life sciences.
Topics include differential equations, numerical analysis, scientific computing, optimization, operations research, probability and statistics, mathematical modelling, control theory, mathematical biology, mathematical physics, financial and actuarial mathematics, graph theory, information theory and interdisciplinary applications.
Editorial Assessment and Peer Review
Every submission is first checked for scope, completeness, originality and basic ethical requirements. Suitable manuscripts are evaluated through double-anonymous peer review by at least two independent specialists whenever practicable. Reviewers advise the editor; the editor makes the final decision after considering the reports, the authors’ response and the integrity of the record. A manuscript is never rejected automatically by counting reviewer votes.
Similarity reports are used as screening tools, not as automatic verdicts. Editors assess the nature, source and context of any overlap; no single percentage determines a decision.
A Simple Author Journey
Authors submit online using Microsoft Word or LaTeX. Only the information needed for editorial assessment is requested at submission. Revisions are handled through the same record, and final editable source files may be sent by email after acceptance when requested. Publication fees are charged only after acceptance.
Open Access and Copyright
IJAMR provides immediate open access. Authors retain copyright and published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits sharing and adaptation with appropriate attribution.
Research Integrity and the Scholarly Record
The journal follows COPE-informed procedures for authorship, peer review, conflicts of interest, corrections, expressions of concern and retractions. When a published article requires correction or retraction, its landing page, DOI and bibliographic record are preserved and clearly linked to the notice.
Discoverability
Articles receive persistent DOI identifiers and expose machine-readable citation metadata for discovery services. Journal metadata is available through OAI-PMH, and article landing pages link directly to the full text.
