About the Journal
The SPC Journal of Artificial Intelligence & Smart Systems (SPCJAISS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advances in artificial intelligence and their translation into real-world smart systems. The journal publishes high-quality original research, reviews, and case studies that develop or apply machine learning, deep learning, and intelligent automation to solve practical problems. By emphasising applied and interdisciplinary work, SPCJAISS serves a fast-growing global community of researchers, engineers, and practitioners and provides rapid, rigorous, and fully open dissemination of their findings under a Creative Commons Attribution licence.
Focus and Scope
SPCJAISS aims to advance the theory and, in particular, the application of artificial intelligence and intelligent systems. Topics within scope include, but are not limited to: machine learning and deep learning methods and architectures; natural language processing and large language models; computer vision and pattern recognition; reinforcement learning and intelligent agents; AI for healthcare, medicine, and bioinformatics; AI in engineering, manufacturing, and smart cities; Internet of Things, edge AI, and cyber-physical systems; explainable, trustworthy, and responsible AI; optimisation, fuzzy systems, and evolutionary computation; data-driven decision support and predictive analytics; and AI applications in education, energy, finance, and environmental science. The journal especially encourages reproducible studies with shared code and data and interdisciplinary applications bridging AI with the natural and applied sciences.
