Overview

The SPC Journal of Artificial Intelligence & Smart Systems (SPCJAISS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal for research on artificial intelligence and its application in real-world smart systems. It publishes rigorous work for researchers, engineers, and practitioners across computing and applied disciplines.

Aims and Scope

The journal welcomes research on machine learning and deep learning; natural language processing and large language models; computer vision and pattern recognition; reinforcement learning and intelligent agents; explainable, trustworthy, and responsible AI; optimisation, fuzzy systems, and evolutionary computation; Internet of Things, edge AI, and cyber-physical systems; predictive analytics and decision support; and AI applications in healthcare, engineering, manufacturing, smart cities, education, energy, finance, and environmental science.

Article Types

SPCJAISS considers original research articles, review articles, short communications, technical notes, and relevant case studies. Reproducible research with clearly described methods and, where appropriate, shared code or data is encouraged.

Peer Review

Submissions receive editorial screening for relevance, originality, clarity, and basic ethical requirements. Suitable manuscripts are sent to independent subject experts. The editor makes the final decision after considering the manuscript, reviewer reports, and any author revisions.

Open Access and Licensing

Published articles are freely available online. Articles published under the current SPC policy use the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Previously published articles retain the license stated at the time of publication unless properly relicensed.
