Submissions
Author Guidelines
Follow these steps to prepare and submit your manuscript to the International Journal of Scientific World (IJSW).
1. Check that your manuscript fits the journal
IJSW considers original research articles, review articles, short communications, technical notes, and case studies where applicable. The work must be original, must not be under consideration elsewhere, and must fit the journal’s aims and scope. The corresponding author must ensure that every co-author has reviewed and approved the submission.
2. Prepare the main manuscript
Submit a manuscript written in clear, professional English in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) or LaTeX format. You may use the IJSW Word template or IJSW LaTeX template. For LaTeX submissions, include the source, bibliography, figures, and other files needed to compile the manuscript.
The manuscript should generally include the title, author names and affiliations, corresponding-author information, abstract and keywords, introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusions, acknowledgements where applicable, and references. Adapt section names to the type of study.
3. Provide author details
List all authors in the correct order and without professional titles. Provide each author’s complete institutional affiliation and email address. Add ORCID iDs where available and identify the corresponding author.
4. Write the abstract and keywords
Provide an abstract of no more than 250 words that states the purpose, briefly describes the methods, summarizes the main findings, and presents the principal conclusions. Do not include references, figures, tables, or unexplained abbreviations. Add 4–6 accurate keywords.
5. Prepare figures, tables, and equations
- Cite figures and tables in the text and number them consecutively.
- Use clear, high-quality figures and concise captions.
- Explain symbols, abbreviations, and units.
- Place figures and tables near their first citation where practical.
- Format equations clearly and number them when cited in the text.
Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reuse copyrighted material.
6. Format the references
Cite references numerically in square brackets, for example [1], and arrange the reference list in order of citation. Include DOI links whenever available.

Online resource: Include the author or organization, page title, website, URL, and access date.
7. Add statements relevant to your study
Include funding, competing interests, ethics approval, informed consent, and data availability statements where applicable. Use “None” or “Not applicable” when appropriate. Upload supplementary data or supporting files separately when relevant.
8. Submit and follow your manuscript
Submit through the online submission system. Enter the title, abstract, keywords, and author details exactly as they appear in the manuscript. You can save your progress and return later. Suitable submissions undergo single-anonymous peer review: reviewer identities are concealed from authors, while author identities may be visible to reviewers.
Before acceptance, upload revisions and a point-by-point response through the submission system so the editorial record remains complete. Track the manuscript through your dashboard. If you need assistance, email editor@sciencepubco.com and include your submission ID.
9. After acceptance
Provide the final Word or LaTeX files requested by the editorial team. For LaTeX, include all files needed to compile the article. Check proofs promptly when they are sent to the corresponding author.
Submission and publication in IJSW are free of charge; there is no article processing charge. See the journal’s charges page. Published work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License (CC BY 3.0).
