Instructions for Authors
Online Submission and File Formats
Submit manuscripts through the journal’s online system. IJAES accepts Microsoft Word files (.doc or .docx). Manuscripts should be written in clear, professional English, and every co-author must approve the submission.
Download the IJAES Word template
Upload the Word manuscript for review and provide the final editable Word file after acceptance; it may be sent by email when uploading through OJS is inconvenient.
Article Types
The journal accepts original research articles, review articles, short communications, technical notes, and relevant case studies in accounting, economics, finance, governance, and related fields.
Manuscript Preparation
Include the title, author names and affiliations, corresponding-author email, ORCID iDs where available, abstract, four to six keywords, main text, acknowledgements where applicable, funding information, data-availability statement where relevant, and references. The abstract should normally not exceed 250 words and should state the purpose, methods, main findings, and conclusions.
Figures, Tables, Equations, and References
Cite and number figures, tables, and referenced equations consecutively. Provide clear captions, define abbreviations and symbols, and obtain permission for reused material. Use numerical citations in square brackets, arrange references in order of citation, and include DOI identifiers whenever available.
Ethics, Authorship, and Competing Interests
The manuscript must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Every listed author must approve the submission and meet accepted authorship criteria. Disclose relationships that could reasonably be perceived to influence the work; a separate no-conflict statement is optional when no relevant conflict exists.
Data and AI-Assisted Tools
Include a data-availability statement when data support the findings. AI tools cannot be authors. Authors remain responsible for accuracy, originality, citations, confidentiality, and integrity, and should disclose substantive use of generative AI. Routine spelling and grammar assistance does not require a separate declaration.
Fees, Proofs, and Author Support
There is no submission fee. The article processing charge is USD 100 and is requested only after acceptance following peer review. Proofs are sent to the corresponding author for final checking. Technical assistance is available without adding unnecessary submission requirements.
