Information
Find the information you need, then check the relevant journal page for its current requirements. Submission formats, templates, fees and editorial policies may differ by journal.
For authors
Choose a journal that fits your manuscript and read its Author Guidelines before submission.
- Use the format and template accepted by that journal.
- Check its scope, ethics requirements and publication charges.
- Submit through the journal’s own submission page.
For reviewers
Review invitations are managed by each journal. Before accepting, confirm your expertise, availability and any conflicts of interest.
Provide a constructive, confidential assessment through the journal’s review system and follow the deadline shown in your invitation.
For librarians
SPC journal articles are available to read online. Browse individual journal pages for their archives, ISSN, scope and publication information.
Open access
Published articles can be read without a subscription. Copyright and reuse terms are stated on each journal and article page; check those terms before reusing material.
Special issues
Special-issue proposals should fit the scope of a specific journal. Contact that journal’s editorial office with the topic, rationale, proposed editors and timetable.
Proposals require editorial approval; regular peer-review and journal policies continue to apply.
Publication ethics
Before submission, confirm that the work is original, all authors have approved it, and any required ethics approvals, permissions, funding and competing-interest statements are included.
For concerns about a submission or published article, contact the relevant journal’s editorial office with the article link or ID and a clear description of the issue.
For article-specific questions, use the contact information on the relevant journal page. Its published guidelines take precedence over this overview.
