Peer Review
Submissions first undergo editorial screening for relevance, originality, basic methodological quality, ethical compliance, and readiness for review. Suitable manuscripts are evaluated through double-anonymous peer review by at least two independent external reviewers. The editor makes the final decision after considering the reviews, the authors’ responses, and the quality of the revised manuscript.
Possible decisions are accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject. Authors receive consolidated editorial and reviewer feedback and may request a reasonable extension when more time is needed for revision.
A Simple Author Journey
- Submit the manuscript and essential metadata through OJS.
- The editorial office checks scope, completeness, and ethical requirements.
- Eligible manuscripts proceed to double-anonymous external review.
- Authors revise the manuscript and provide a response to reviewer comments when requested.
- After acceptance, the article proceeds to copyediting, production, DOI assignment, and publication.
JACST accepts manuscripts prepared in Microsoft Word or LaTeX. After acceptance, editable source files may be supplied through OJS or by email if requested by the production team.
