About the Journal

Focus and Scope

The International Journal of Physical Research (IJPR) (E-ISSN 2307-9010) publishes original research and critical reviews that advance fundamental and applied physics. The journal welcomes theoretically motivated, experimentally validated, computational, and interdisciplinary studies with a clear physical foundation and a meaningful scientific contribution.

Core areas include applied and computational physics; condensed matter and materials physics; nanoscience; photonics and optoelectronics; quantum science and technology; energy physics; plasma and high-energy applications; fluid dynamics and complex systems; statistical mechanics; atomic, molecular, and optical physics; biological and medical physics; geophysics; and environmental physics.

Peer Review

Submissions first undergo an editorial screening for scope, originality, ethical compliance, and basic scholarly quality. Suitable manuscripts are evaluated under a double-anonymous review model by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewers provide recommendations and constructive comments; the handling editor makes the final decision after considering the reports, the authors' responses, and the manuscript as a whole. Reviewer recommendations do not trigger automatic acceptance or rejection.

Review times vary according to reviewer availability and the complexity of the work. Authors receive updates through the journal system and may contact the editorial office if assistance is needed.

Publication Ethics

IJPR follows principles consistent with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors must submit original work, cite sources accurately, obtain required approvals for research involving humans or animals, disclose relevant competing interests, and ensure that every listed author meets accepted authorship criteria. Editors and reviewers must preserve confidentiality and disclose conflicts that could affect impartiality.

Similarity Screening

Similarity reports are editorial screening tools and are evaluated in context. No fixed percentage alone determines a decision. Suspected plagiarism, redundant publication, fabricated or manipulated data, or other misconduct is assessed case by case. Authors are given an opportunity to respond before proportionate editorial action is taken.

Corrections, Retractions, and Expressions of Concern

Verified errors are addressed through corrections or other notices linked to the published article. When retraction is necessary, the article landing page and bibliographic record remain available and are clearly marked with a linked retraction notice so that the scholarly record is preserved.

Open Access and Copyright

IJPR provides immediate open access to published content. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication. Articles published under the current SPC policy are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Previously published articles remain subject to the licence stated at the time of publication unless they are expressly relicensed with the necessary rights and permissions.

Fees

IJPR currently charges no submission fee and no article processing charge. Authors are not asked to pay during submission, peer review, acceptance, or publication.

Data, AI-Assisted Tools, and Transparency

Authors should include a data-availability statement when research data support the findings. AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Authors remain responsible for accuracy, originality, citations, confidentiality, and research integrity, and should disclose substantive use of generative AI in writing, analysis, images, or code. Routine spelling and grammar assistance does not require a separate declaration.

Archiving and Author Support

The journal supports long-term preservation through the archiving services configured in OJS. Authors may deposit and share their published work in repositories and on personal or institutional websites with appropriate citation. Authors who encounter difficulty during submission or production may contact the journal office for assistance without additional submission requirements.
