FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of manuscripts does IJET consider?

IJET considers original research articles, review articles, short communications, technical notes, and relevant case studies that fit the journal's aims and scope.

How do I submit a manuscript?

Submit through the online submission system. You can save an incomplete submission and return later. Submission by email is not used for initial manuscripts.

Which file formats are accepted?

Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) and LaTeX files are accepted. For LaTeX, include the source, bibliography, figures, and any required style files. After acceptance, final editable files may be sent to IJET@sciencepubco.com if uploading them is inconvenient.

Is there a submission or publication fee?

There is no submission fee. The article processing charge is USD 100 and is requested only after the manuscript has been accepted following peer review. Payment does not influence the editorial decision.

How does peer review work, and how long does it take?

Suitable manuscripts are normally evaluated by at least two independent reviewers using a single-anonymous process. Review time depends on reviewer availability and the revisions required; the journal does not guarantee a decision or publication date.

Are reviewer suggestions required?

No. Reviewer suggestions are optional, and leaving that section blank does not affect editorial assessment.

Is a competing-interests statement required?

Relevant financial, personal, institutional, or professional interests must be disclosed. A separate statement is optional when no relevant conflict exists.

Can the same manuscript be submitted elsewhere at the same time?

No. A manuscript must not be under consideration by another journal while it is submitted to IJET.

What happens after submission?

The corresponding author receives confirmation through the system. The editorial office checks scope, presentation, originality, and required information before peer review. Editorial decisions and revision requests are recorded in OJS.

What open-access licence is used?

Under the current SPC policy, authors retain copyright and accepted articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Who can help with a submission?

Contact IJET@sciencepubco.com for submission or production assistance.
