Exact hyperbolic, trigonometric and rational travelling wave solutions to the (2+1)-dimensional Generalized Zakharov-Kuznetsov (GZK) equation via the extended generalized Riccati equation mapping method are presented in this paper. The twenty one travelling wave solutions obtained were verified by putting them back into the GZK equation with the aid of Mathematica. This shows that the extended generalized Riccati equation mapping method is a powerful tool for finding exact solution to nonlinear partial differential equations in physics, mathematics and other applications.

The augmented eccentric connectivity index of a graph which is a generalization of eccentric connectivity index is defined as the summation of the quotients of the product of adjacent vertex degrees and eccentricity of the concerned vertex of a graph. In this paper we established some relationships between augmented eccentric connectivity index and several other graph invariants like number of vertices, number of edges, maximum vertex degree, minimum vertex degree, the total eccentricity index the first Zagreb indices and the second multiplicative Zagreb index.

Allee effects in a predator--prey system with a saturated recovery function and harvesting
javidi, Mohammad
Nyamoradi, N.
In this paper, we will consider the Allee effects on predator--prey system with a saturated recovery function and harvesting. Local stability analysis of biologically feasible equilibrium points is worked out with help of ecological as well as disease basic reproduction numbers. We proved that the equilibrium $P_0=(0,0)$ of the predator--prey system is (i) a saddle point in weak Allee effects (WAE) and (ii) asymptotically stable in strong Allee effects (SAE). We proved that the equilibrium $P_1=(\beta,0)$ of the system is a saddle point if $R_0(1)<1$ and unstable if $R_0(1)>1$ in SAE case. Also we proved that the equilibrium $P_2=(1,0)$ of the system is a saddle point if $R_0(1)>1$ and asymptotically stability if $R_0(1)<1$ in SAE case. It is shown that the coexistence equilibria is not asymptotically stable. Numerical simulations are carried out for a hypothetical set of parameter values to substantiate our
analytical findings.

In this paper, the numerical solution of one-dimensional linear hyperbolic telegraph equation, which describe wave propagation of electric signals in a cable transmission line, is proposed employing the well known homotopy perturbation method (HPM) and laplace transform(LT). Using Laplace transform scheme, the problem is converted into a partial differential equation without any differentiation respect to time. Homotopy perturbation method is applied in the Laplace transform domain. We use Stehfest's numerical inversion algorithm of Laplace transform to retrieve the time domain solution. The performance was found to be very good. The approximate solutions are in excellent agreement with those by the Chebyshev spectral collocation method (CSCM) and the method uses interpolating scaling functions. To illustrate the method some examples are provided. The results show the simplicity and the efficiency of the method.

This paper presents a new extension for the effect of Radiation on MHD Natural Convection Flow with Variable Viscosity from a Porous Vertical Plate. The governing boundary layer equations are first transformed into a non dimensional form and the resulting non linear system of partial differential equations are then solved numerically using finite difference method together with Keller-Box scheme. The numerical results show that the variable viscosity affects the surface shear stress and the rate of heat transfer which are here in terms of skin friction coefficient and local Nusselt number. It affects velocity as well as temperature profiles also. These are shown graphically and tabular form for a selection of parameters set of consisting of viscosity variation parameter g, magnetohydrodynamic parameter M, radiation effect Rd, Prandtl number Pr.

New wave solutions of the Yang-Mills equations with axially symmetric sources
Rabinowitch, Alexander S.
Department of Applied Mathematics,
Moscow State University of Instrument Engineering and Computer Science
A class of nontrivial axially symmetric wave solutions to the Yang-Mills equations with SU(2) symmetry is studied. It describes transversal non-Abelian waves propagated at constant phase velocities through axially symmetric sources of Yang-Mills fields along their axes. In the considered case, the Yang-Mills equations are reduced to a system of six nonlinear partial differential equations. These equations are studied for a special class of axially symmetri sources satisfying a differential equation of charge conservation. From them partial differential equations of the first order for only the Yang-Mills field strengths are derived. To investigate these equations, a special method is proposed. As a result, their exact solutions are found. Using them, exact formulas for the field strengths and potentials in the non-Abelian waves under examination are obtained.

On axially symmetric solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations
Rabinowitch, Alexander S.
Department of Applied Mathematics,

Moscow, Russia
In the present paper, the Navier-Stokes equations are studied in several axially symmetric cases. In them incompressible viscous fluids rotate about their axes and can change their shape. In the considered cases, three exact solutions to the Navier-Stokes equations are found. The first of these solutions describes rotating viscous fluids that are gradually cooling. The second of them describes nonstationary rotations with axial motions of viscous fluids. The third of the obtained solutions to the Navier-Stokes equations concerns rotating viscous fluids with stationary velocities. It is used to describe the observable phenomenon of differential rotation of the visible surfaces of stars and giant gas planets.

On closed-form solutions to a class of ordinary differential equations
Badani, Dhrushil
In this paper,closed-form solutions in terms of integral(s) to any second and third order linear non-homogeneous constant-coefficient ordinary differential equations as well as the second order non-homogeneous Cauchy-Euler equation, are derived. The method is generalized for nth order linear non-homogeneous constant-coefficient ordinary differential equations. A similar method is used to derive closed-form solutions to second order linear non-homogeneous non- constant coefficient ordinary differential equations. We then demonstrate an application of the method to recurrence relations of the second order.

Then We Characterize Primes and Composite Numbers Via Divisibility
Gilbert, Ikorong
research
Karl-Joseph, Rizzo
In this paper, we show a Theorem which helps us to characterize prime numbers and composite numbers via divisibility; and we use the characterizations of primes and composite numbers to characterize twin primes, Mersenne primes, even perfect numbers, Sophie Germain primes, Fermat primes, Fermat composite numbers and Mersenne composite numbers (we recall that a logic (non recursive) proof of problems posed by twin primes, Mersenne primes, perfect numbers, Sophie Germain primes, Fermat primes, Fermat composite numbers and Mersenne composite numbers, is given in [12].
[[ Prime numbers are well kwown ( see [15] or [19]) and we recall that a composite number is a non prime number. We recall (see [1] or [2] or [3] or [6] or [9] or [10] or [12] or [13] or [14] or [17]) that a {\it{Fermat prime }} is a prime of the form F_{n}=2^{2^{n}}+1, where n is an integer \geq 0; and a {\it{Fermat composite}} is a non prime number of the form F_{n}=2^{2^{n}}+1, where n is an integer \geq 1; it is known that for every j\in \lbrace 0, 1,2,3,4\rbrace, F_{j} is a Fermat prime, and it is also known that F_{5} and F_{6} are Fermat composite. We recall (see [11]) that a prime h is called a {\it{Sophie Germain prime}}, if both h and 2h+1 are prime; the first few Sophie Germain primes are 2, 3,5,11,23,29,41, ...; it is easy to check that 233 is a Sophie Germain prime. A {\it{Mersenne prime }} (see [6] or [10] or [11] or [16] or [19] or [20] or [21]) is a prime of the form M_{m}=2^{m}-1, where m is prime; for example M_{13} and M_{19} are Mersenne prime. A Mersenne composite ( see [7] or [9]) is a non prime number of the form M_{m}=2^{m}-1, where m is prime; it is known that M_{11} and M_{67} are Mersenne composite. We also recall (see [4] or [5] or [7] or [8] or [10] or [11] or [18] or [19] or [20] or [22]) that an integer t is a twin prime,
if t is a prime \geq 3 and if t-2 or t+2 is also a prime \geq 3; for example, it is easy to check that (881,883) is a couple of twin primes. Finally, we recall that Pythagoras saw {\it{perfection}} in any integer that equaled the sum of all the other integers that divided evenly into it (see [7] or [9]). The first perfect number is 6. It's evenly divisible by 1, 2, and 3, and it's also the sum of 1, 2, and 3,
[note 28, 496 and 33550336 are also perfect numbers (see [7] or [9])]; and perfect numbers are known for some integers >33550336 ]].

In this paper, we use the homotopy analysis method (HAM), to obtain the solutions of the temperature distribution, the position of the moving boundary and the Stefan condition. There are advantages to using HAM, firstly it is independent of small/large physical parameters, there is flexibility on the choice of base function and initial guess of solution and lastly there is great generality. The results obtained from this method shows high accuracy, computational efficiency and a strong rate of convergence.

Memes propagation is a usual form of social interaction. Understanding the dynamics of memes transmission enables one to find the conditions that leads to persistence or disappearance of memes. In this paper we analyze qualitatively a mathematical model of variable meme transmission. Two equilibrium points of the model are examined: meme free equilibrium and meme existence equilibrium. The reproduction number R? that generates new memes is found. Local and global stability of the equilibrium points are explored. Finally, we support our results using numerical simulations.

G-atomic decompositions for Banach spaces with respect to a model space of sequences have been introduced and studied as a generalization of atomic decompositions. Examples and counter example have been provided to show its existence. It has been proved that an associated Banach space for G-atomic decomposition always has a complemented subspace. The notion of a representation system is introduced and exhibits its relation with G-atomic decomposition. Also It has been observed that G-atomic decompositions are exactly compressions of Schauder decompositions for a larger Banach space. We give a characterization for finite G-atomic decomposition in terms of finite-dimensional expansion of identity.

Global dynamics of a vector-borne disease model with latency and saturating incidence rate
Rahman, Ashrafur

This paper deals with a vector-borne disease model containing latency and nonlinear incidence rates. Global analysis is completely determined by suitable Lyapunov functionals. We explicitely determine the basic reproduction number and find that if this number is less than one then disease dies out, but if the number is larger than one, the disease causing strain become endemic. The study shows that the latency delay explicitely in°uence the disease persistence.

An epidemic model with saturated incidence rate and vaccination is investigated. The model exhibits two equilibria namely disease-free and endemic equilibria. It is shown that if the basic reproduction number (R0) is less than unity, the disease-free equilibrium is locally asymptotically stable and in such case, the endemic equilibrium does not exist. Also, it is shown that if R0 > 1, the disease is persistent and the unique endemic equilibrium of the system with saturation incidence is locally asymptotically stable. Lyapunov function and Dulac’s criterion plus Poincare-Bendixson theorem are applied to prove the global stability of the disease-free and endemic equilibria respectively. The effect of vaccine in the model is critically looked into.

Stochastic description of the dynamics of thrombo-embolus in an arterial compartment
Egenti, Nzerem Francis

Thrombosis, the formation or presence of blood clot in an arterial segment, most often admit the detachment of an embolus which flows antegrade. Embolism, the blockage of artery by an embolus, is a medical emergency. In a bid to gain an insight into its deleteriousness, we studied the diffusion of the embolus in an arterial compartment by means of Fokker-Planck equation, and the eventual occlusion of a site of the artery where the embolus was lodged. The probability density function of its spatial coordinate at any time was the hallmark of the diffusion process. Analytic solution of the emerging stochastic equation was sought. This study implicated thrombo-embolism in cardiovascular events.

Ahmed, Soha Othman
This paper seeks to focus on Bayesian and E-Bayesian estimation for the unknown shape parameter of the Gumbel type-II distribution based on type-II censored samples. These estimators are obtained under symmetric loss function [squared error loss (SELF))] and various asymmetric loss functions [LINEX loss function (LLF), Degroot loss function (DLF), Quadratic loss function (QLF) and minimum expected loss function (MELF)]. Comparisons between the E-Bayesian estimators with the associated Bayesian estimators are investigated through a simulation study.

This paper presents the investigative study to derive a computational model based on hypersingular integral equations for the pre-Cantor plane-parallel diffraction structure. Such structure consists of finite numbers of the thin impedance strips located in the XY plane. A plane transverse magnetic wave is incident from infinity on considered diffraction structure at an angle and need to find the total field resulting from the scattering. The model which is considered in this work is an approximation of real fractal antennas in two-dimensional case. Pre-fractal properties of grating allow producing the newest antennas for modern mobile devices due to their compact size and broadband properties. The purpose of this work is to develop computer model their structure using parametric representation of hypersingular integral operator, Nystrom method with specific quadrature formulas. The numerical results have been obtained and investigated for pre-Cantor structures for calculating physics characteristics. These results have been compared and analyzed in different mathematical models and softwares.

When  is an unknown parameter or restrict positive constant also studied in this paper. We propose the Gaussian distribution for the random effect  and the exponential distribution for the random effect   , we obtained an explicit formulas for the likelihood functions in each case and find the maximum likelihood estimators of the unknown parameters in the random effects and for the unknown parameter   . Consistency and asymptotic normality are studied just when  is normal random effect and  is constant.

Nonidentical relations of skew-symmetric forms: Generation of closed exterior forms. Discrete transitions. Connection between field-theory equations and nonidentical relations
Petrova, Ludmila
Moscow State University Faculty of Computational Mathematics & Cybernetics
Nonidentical relations of skew-symmetric differential forms, which basis are non-integrable deforming manifolds follow from differential equations. From nonidentical relations closed exterior forms are obtained. The process of obtaining closed exterior forms describes the discrete transitions and the emergence of structures and observable formations such as waves, vertices, and turbulent pulsations. It is shown that the field theory equations (by Schroedinger, Maxwell, Einstein and others) turns to be nonidentical relations, obtained from the mathematical physics equations for material media such as the cosmologic systems, the systems of charged particles and others. Â

Machine-coded genetic operators and their performances in floating-point genetic algorithms
Satman, Mehmet Hakan
Istanbul University
Akadal, Emre
Istanbul University
Machine-coded genetic algorithms (MCGAs) use the byte representation of floating-point numbers which are encoded in the computer memory. Use of the byte alphabet makes classical crossover operators directly applicable in the floating-point genetic algorithms. Since effect of the byte-based mutation operator depends on the location of the mutated byte, the byte-based mutation operator mimics the functionality of its binary counterpart. In this paper, we extend the MCGA by developing new type of byte-based genetic operators including a random mutation and a random dynamic mutation operator. We perform a simulation study to compare the performances of the byte-based operators with the classical FPGA operators using a set of test functions. The prepared software package, which is freely available for downloading, is used for the simulations. It is shown that the byte-based genetic search obtains precise results by carrying out the both exploration and exploitation tasks by discovering new fields of the search space and performing a local fine-tuning. It is also shown that the introduced byte-based operators improve the search capabilities of FPGAs by means of convergence rate and precision even if the decision variables are in larger domains.

This research paper focuses the globally exponential synchronization between two identical and two nonidentical chaotic oscillators. With the help of Lyapunov direct method and using the active control technique, suitable algebraic conditions are obtained analytically that establish the globally exponential synchronization. The proposed globally exponential synchronization criterion is more general and much less conservative than the previously published works. A comparison, based upon the synchronization speed, cost and quality have been performed with our study of the previously published results. The effect of unknown external disturbances has also been discussed. Numerical simulation results are presented to illustrate the performance and efficiency of this study.

Missing observations: The loss in relative A-, D- and G-efficiency
Iwundu, Mary
University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria
The loss in Relative A-, D- and G-efficiency due to missing single or multiple observations is studied using cuboidal designs associated with response models. Higher losses in Relative A- and D-efficiencies are attributed to missing vertex points. The absence of one or two center points does not affect any of Relative A-, D- and G-efficiency, but when its absence is in combination with either a vertex or axial point, there is some negative effect on the design efficiency resulting in some percentage loss in Relative efficiency. The loss in relative efficiency is higher when the missing center point is in combination with missing vertex point. Losses in Relative A- and D-efficiencies are generally higher than losses in Relative G-efficiency. In fact, Relative G-efficiency is mildly affected by the missing vertex or axial point or both.

Similarly, the hyper Zagreb index is defined as the sum of square of degree of vertices over all the edges. In this paper, First we obtain the hyper Zagreb indices of some derived graphs and the generalized transformations graphs. Finally, the hyper Zagreb indices of double, extended double, thorn graph, subdivision vertex corona of graphs, Splice and link graphs are obtained.

The core of the paper was to investigate the possibility of local hidden variable theory and its application in quantum teleportation. We reviewed literature on the Bell's inequality which is necessary for quantum teleportation. Quantum teleportation utilises a single-particle entangled state which can be successfully achieved by the application of the locality assumption which leads to Bell's inequality. A violation of the Bell's inequality signifies the nonlocal nature of a single particle useful for quantum teleportation.

In this paper endeavors to submit reliability (R) of a special (2+1) stress-strength Cascade model for Weibull distribution. Expressions for the model reliability are obtained when the strength and stress are weibull random variables with known shape and unknown scale parameters. Four different methods (ML, Mo, LS and WLS) are used to estimate the reliability and make a comparison between them in simulation study with program made by MATLAB 2016 using criterion MSE, where it found that the best estimator between the four estimators was ML.

Model specification is consequential in mathematical science and statistics in particular. This work seeks to ascertain the consequences of model mis-specification in the analysis of a time series dominated by trend. It further discusses the statistical properties of various types of trend as well as when they are combine with AR (1) and MA (1) process. It recommends the use of spectrum analysis in detection of trend type in a given series.Illustrations were carried out using simulated series. The results from the simulated series was in harmony with the theoretical results.

Chord Newton’s Method for Solving Fuzzy Nonlinear Equations
Usman Moyi, Aliyu
Department of Mathematics,Faculty of Science,Federal University Gusau,Zamfara State,Nigeria
In this paper, we present a new approach for solving fuzzy nonlinear equations. Our approach requires to compute the Jacobian matrix once throughout the iterations unlike some Newton’s-like methods which needs to compute the Jacobian matrix in every iterations. The fuzzy coefficients are presented in parametric form. Numerical results on well-known benchmarks fuzzy nonlinear equations are reported to authenticate the effectiveness and efficiency of the approach.

This present paper aims to investigate further, certain characterization properties for a subclass of univalent function defined by a generalized differential operator. In particular, necessary and sufficient conditions for the function  to belong to the subclass  is established. Additionally, we provide the ð›…-neighborhood properties for the function  by making use of the necessary and sufficient conditions. The results obtained are new geometric properties for the subclass

Quartic autocatalytic form of chemical reaction has valuable interference in catalysis, manufacturing of ceramics, and production of polymers. Motivated by this, the present work examined the quartic autocalytic chemical reaction of an hybrid nanofluid in the presence of thermal stratification, radiation, porosity. Similarity transformation method was employed to convert the governing equations into ordinary differential equations. The existence and uniqueness of a solution was examined, and numerical solution thereafter obtained. Results obtained were shown in figures.
